What are diamonds?

Diamonds are the hardest substances on earth. They are a solid, non metallic element. Diamonds are a form of carbon. Out of 100%, 20% of diamonds are used for jewellery, the rest of the percent of diamond usage is industrial, like for cutting tools, polishing hard metal and more. Diamonds are a pure substance.
